Can AI write code for the brain? We are proving it can.

01Research

We founded the field of NeuroAI.

Our team and fellows built the models, benchmarks and methods the field runs on. Today researchers, engineers and clinical operators turn that science into ION - our platform that takes digital brains to therapies.

Read Write Labs Foundation

Can human neuroscience help AI have compassion for humanity?

AI writes code for the brain.
The brain writes code for AI.

The Read Write Labs Foundation will study what human neuroscience can teach AI about caring for people. Our research shows that behaviour follows the geometry of neural activity. The Foundation asks whether that same geometry can help AI systems recognise and protect human welfare.

Planned work includes a Compassion Score, a way to measure how closely an AI system's behaviour matches human welfare, and open research that anyone can build on. The Foundation is still in development. Its programmes, governance and partners will be announced as they are confirmed.
